"Raspberry
Manor is on my list of things to do over and over. Go
to dinner there, have another writer's retreat there.
Take friends there. Best of all, go there with the one
you love. What a treat."
Beverly Parker
has returned many times. She home schools her four children
and is associated with many of the home schoolers in
the area. In Fall of 2003 she had a Mother/Daughter
Tea at Raspberry Manor where they taught etiquette and
grace. [Click here for

Dallas Morning News
"This western Arkansas bed and breakfast is far-out,
in a manner or speaking" Jean
Simmons, Dallas Morning News and The Wichita Eagle.
"Now if you really an adventurous bed and breakfast devotee,
I have a suggestion for you. No, it's nothing risky, just
offbeat, out of the way and eclectic."
"To adequately describe the décor
poses an impossible challenge, but here's a try. A huge sectional
sofa with three coffee tables faces the 22-foot floor to ceiling
native stone fireplace. Crystal chandeliers and ceiling fans
with specially made clear blades hang from the ceiling. Raspberry
colored carpeting, afghans, oodles of candles, paneled walls
and leaded glass windows help to provide the proper background
for the couple's countless possessions."
The inn joined as
a member of the Bed and
Breakfast Association of Arkansas
in 1998, with Kathy serving as a board member from 2001-2003.
